About Helping Hand Children Ministry

Helping Hand Children Ministry is a Christian, non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope, compassion, and practical support to vulnerable children and families across Liberia. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow in a safe, loving environment where they have access to education, healthcare, and the encouragement needed to reach their God-given potential.

Although Helping Hand Children Ministry was officially established in 2026, the vision was born much earlier. In 2022, Mrs. Mmietay Doe and her husband began sharing a heartfelt desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of disadvantaged children in Liberia. As they witnessed the challenges many children faced including limited access to education, basic necessities, healthcare, and emotional support they felt called by God to become part of the solution.

What began as a simple dream soon became a mission rooted in faith, love, and service. After years of prayer, planning, and preparation, that vision became a reality with the launch of Helping Hand Children Ministry in 2026.

Today, our ministry works to restore hope by providing educational materials, school support, food assistance, clothing, healthcare outreach, children's empowerment programs, and community development initiatives. We also strive to create opportunities for children to experience God's love through mentorship, spiritual guidance, and acts of kindness.

We believe that investing in children is investing in the future of Liberia. Every notebook distributed, every meal shared, every child encouraged, and every life touched brings us one step closer to building stronger families, healthier communities, and a brighter nation.
